Taipei from Elephant Mountain

Day 1 - Northern Taiwan Tour

12:10 AM - Arrival at Taoyuan Airport Terminal 1

12:10 AM to 06:00AM - Waiting time at Airport Lounge. Got Pocket Wi-fi and bought Easy Card at Convenience Store

06:00 AM to 06:45 AM - Travel to Taipei Main Station via Express Metro Train

06:45 AM to 07:10 AM - Drop bag at lockers

07:10 AM to 07:30 AM - Travel to Ximen Staion via MRT

07:30 AM to 07:45AM - Wait for Shuttle at Exit 4

07:45 AM to 05:00 PM - Northern Taiwan Tour via shuttle

Places visited were Yehliu Geopark, Ying Yang Sea, 13-Layer Remains, Golden Waterfall, Jiufen, Shifen and Ximen. However, I requested to be dropped off Taipei Main Station and not Ximen because I need to catch-up on the bus heading Taichung. Kindly note that the shuttle is not available everyday and it gets fully booked instantly.

05:00 PM to 06:00 PM - Pick-up bag at locker and go to Taipei Bus Station

Taipei Bus Station is located at L3 of Taipei Mall

06:00 PM to 07:00 PM - Dinner while waiting for the bus

07:00 PM to 09:00 PM - Travel to Taichung via bus

09:00PM onwards - Check in at Chance Hotel/Freshen-up/Lights off

Day 2 - Taichung Day Tour

06:00 AM to 08:00 AM - Wake up/Breakfast/Prep for Day Tour

08:30 AM to 05:00 PM - Taichung Tour via Taxi

Places visited were Summer Garden Resort, Chungshe Flower Garden, Mushroom Reastaurant, Rainbow Village and (drop-off) Fengjia Night Market

05:00 PM to 07:00 PM - Walk around Fengjia Night Market

07:00 PM to 07:30 PM - Went to Decathlon via Taxi

07:30 PM to 09:00 PM - Explored Decathlon

09:00 PM to 09:30 PM - Travel back to Chance Hotel

09:30 PM onwards - Freshen-up/Lights off

08:00AM to 08:20 AM - Waiting time for the Bus

08:20 AM to 09:20 AM - Travel to Sun Moon Lake via bus

09:20 AM to 04:30 PM - Explored Sun Moon Lake

04:30 PM to 06:30 PM - Travel back to Hotel via bus

Places visited were Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial, Taipei Zoo, Maokong via Gandola, Elephant Mountatin, 

04:30 PM - 05:00 PM - Travel to Taipei 101 via MRT

05:00 PM to 06:00 PM - Dinner/Explored Taipei 101

06:00 PM to 07:30 PM - Shopping

07:30 PM to 08:00 PM - Travel back to accommodation via MRT/Fix Luggage

08:00 PM to 10:00 PM - Travel to Taoyuan Airport via Express Metro Train

10:00 PM to 01:25AM (next day) - Check-in/Waiting time
